Skiing and snowboarding around Alpinn
Alpinn lies directly at the foot of the Katschberg-Aineck ski area in Sankt Margarethen. A well-known area is the Tauern mountain range. On the flanks of the Fanningberg, the Katschberg-Aineck and the Groβeck-Speiereck you can not only ski and snowboard but also hike and practice extreme sports. In total, you can experience 140 kilometres of pistes in the Katschberg area. Also for the beginning skier this area is very suitable with mainly blue and red slopes you can enjoy a real winter sport.
