The former palace belonged to the Protestant physician Urban Zusner van Zusnerberg until 1614. In 1759, the palace became the property of Bishop of Bamberg.Neuer Platz

On the Altes Platz stands the Altes Rathaus until 1918, this former palace Welzer was the town hall for the city council and the mayor of Klagenfurt.
