Cycling along the Mur

The most beautiful river cycling path in the Alps.

Discover the most scenically diverse river cycle path in the Alpine region. The 457 km long cycle path along the Mur starts in the Hohe Tauern National Park and ends in Bad Radkersburg. The majority of the route is downhill, only at the beginning, in the Lungau, and before the historic town of Judenburg there is a small climb. Public transport connections are excellent with no fewer than 70 stations. So you can start your trip along the River Mur Cycling Trail anywhere.

Do you want more of a challenge? It is possible!

Abseiling, canoeing, paragliding, horse riding. From active to relaxed!

Take a leap into the deep of at least 10 metres high, climb over the wet rocks and go abseiling along the beautiful waterfalls of Salzburgerland. Canyoning will certainly give you an adrenaline kick! The mountains offer a beautiful environment for climbing through narrow gorges and swimming in dark caves.

Do you prefer to go higher up? Then you can also go parachuting or paragliding. In Salzburgerland, there are several offers where you can make a tandem flight.

Would you like to be active, but with a little less risk? Go horseback riding in the beautiful surroundings between the mountains. In St. Margarethen there is an equestrian network of over 100 kilometres.
